Patterns of patchwork and styles of quilting can be found as common themes in many cultures across the world. There are also styles that are specific to cultures like the Manx Log Cabin which has a unique construction method.
I love both the precision and the creativity of the quilting process and particularly enjoy designing my own quilt patterns. Inspiration for my designs comes from many sources with fabrics, colours and styles of patchwork being central to the process.
A machine hire service that enables clients to have the satisfaction of finishing their quilts to their own design. The sit-down longarm machine is easy to use enabling beautiful designs to be stitched and larger quilts to be completed with ease.
I also provide a longarm quilting service for clients. Designs from edge-to-edge to fully customised are offered. Quotations are provided on an individual quilt basis.
Based in my studio, I offer 1:1 lessons in quilting techniques on both domestic sewing machines and my sit-down longarm.
